Johnson’s premiership has advanced a corrupted system – and his leaving will not change this

Peter Oborne Absolutely DESTROYS Boris Johnson & Everything That Made Him Possible

“Boris Johnson was able to rise because of powerful anti-democratic forces”

This video by Peter Oborne  for Double Down News succinctly summarises not only how appalling Johnson has been but how all the Tory politicians have been part of the destruction meted out by this government in the interests of the right wing press, the billionaires and the Tory membership at the expense of ordinary people, especially those experiencing poverty and insecurity, especially refugees and asylum seekers.  That his whole premiership is designed to prop up a corrupt system that works in the interests of the super rich.

Good you spotted this video ~ I shared it widely [might add your intro]. Peter Oborne, an *old school* Tory [who seems on a path of radicalisation], making points that an astute LOTO should be making ~ and not basking in the importance of The Durham Miners Gala [as if he were there], whilst actually watching Wimbledon from the Royal Box.

Thanks, Peter. Even now the journos from Obs/G who traduced Corbyn in 2019 in particular but also earlier, now tell a story closer to the truth about BoZo but can’t accept the unwitting (?) part they played in bringing about the tragedy you accurately describe. Corbyn with his humane policies gone, and relegated to the back of, or from their minds. It’s a living, after all.

Then there is the LP that now exists, formed by the events which sidelined JC, exemplified by the withheld publication of the Forde Report with its surely damning evidence of what 5th column activity carried out by senior party officials under Corbyn and is now being allowed/encouraged/driven/’legitimised’ within the party.

This is indeed extremely worrying, although maybe not surprising, as we continue to see an erosion of our democratic system.
This view needs to be seen an heard in the wider arena

James (?) O’Brien produced a rather similar criticism
of Johnson on LBC – including in this the Cabinet
MInisters who stood by him for three years.

But – and unlike Oborne – nowhere does he mention
all the Labour MPs who colluded in the Labour defeat
of 2019 which actually put Johnson into power.

Its not even as if they did not know what a disaster
Johnson would be for they knew his history and he
more than proved it during the few months he was PM
    before the GE.

Johnson proved every day that he’s a Spoilt, Sulky, Selfish, Domineering, Arrogant, Lying, Racist Bully, with both the Empathy and Sympathy Genes missing from his body and this suited the majority of the Tory MPs and their supporters. Pity Peter Oborne isn’t a Socialist, he would be a credible asset.
