Where there’s controversy it demands context and where there’s cacophony it demands curation. That’s why we shine a fresh spotlight on news surrounding Israel/Palestine, amplifying today’s essential voices often ignored by the mainstream media in our regular live shows and daily newsletter.

At Palestine Deep Dive we’re building a new media alternative which swims against the tide. Established in late 2019, we have been seeking to educate and empower a global audience concerned with human rights, democracy, freedom of speech, justice and equality at time of multiple crises ever since. With waves of attacks against free speech on Palestine it’s never been more urgent to produce brave and insightful journalism through in-depth analysis and consistent news delivery.

Our team of experienced editors have worked with and been published by leading media organisations across the globe and are committed to building sustainable and meaningful journalism.

But building sustainable and meaningful journalism today involves more than just producing quality content, it also means strengthening the voices of tomorrow. Through our work not only do we amplify today’s essential voice, but we also seek to nurture those of tomorrow through tailored educational support and by opening up a vital space for them in the discussion to be heard.

“Our Vision for Liberation” with Ilan Pappé & Ramzy Baroud
(Palestine Deep Dive)

We are delighted Prof. Ilan Pappé & Dr. Ramzy Baroud are joining us again for another DeepDive.

Ilan Pappé is a distinguished Israeli historian and socialist activist. He is a professor with the College of Social Sciences and International Studies at the University of Exeter, director of the university’s European Centre for Palestine Studies, and co-director of the Exeter Centre for Ethno-Political Studies.

Dr. Ramzy Baroud is a Palestinian-American journalist and the Editor of The Palestine Chronicle. He is the author of five books. His latest is These Chains Will Be Broken: Palestinian Stories of Struggle and Defiance in Israeli Prisons (Clarity Press).

Currently working together on a new publication, “Our Vision for Liberation: Engaged Palestinian Leaders & Intellectuals Speak Out”, this will be a timely discussion illuminating the process of producing this compilation of perspectives which aims to provide a new Palestinian discourse fit for today’s challenges to achieving Palestinian freedom.

We’ll be hearing whether recent new-found unity across Palestine in protest against the ethnic cleansing of Sheikh Jarrah and the devastating bombardment of Gaza, in what has been called the “Unity Intifada”, already points to the materialisation of a new vision.

“Our Vision for Liberation” is due to be published in November 2021. Read more here: https://www.amazon.com/Our-Vision-Liberation-Palestinian-Intellectuals/dp/1949762440
