Online Book Launch – Dr. Ghada Karmi interviewed by Lowkey
Dr. Ghada Karmi’s new book “One State: The Only Democratic Future for Palestine-Israel” (Pluto Press 2023) was due to be launched with the Balfour Project with Lowkey interviewing the author. After Yachad complained about Lowkey, the event was cancelled with one day’s notice. Dr. Karmi asked to reschedule without him and she, of course, refused. We are pleased to share the video of the online launch organised by Jewish Network for Palestine and Convivencia Alliance and to announce an in person launch taking place on Friday 23rd June from 7.00 – 8.30 at 1-27 Chalton Street, London NW1 1JD, UK. The video includes an explanation of the cancellation by the Balfour Project and many other important issues such as the increase in Israeli arms sales to the EU and the failings of the Palestinian Authority.

I am hoping to attend the event at P21 gallery, which has also held marvelous exhibitions (for instance commemorating the deaths of migrants in the Mediterranean). Unfortunately I am ill at present so I am hoping the event will be recorded for all the people who can’t be there in person.
