Labour Activists 4 Justice (No.7) – Chris Wallis

Chris Wallis (age 72) is a former Chair of Hazel Grove CLP, part of the Stockport conurbation.  A member since 2015, he has promoted antiracist and antifascist ideas throughout his 40 year career in the entertainment industry, including recording the autobiographies of Nelson Mandela and Amos Oz for BBC Radio.. He is accused of 6 instances of hostility or prejudice based on race or religion. The instances are all re-posts of material posted by other reputable posters, and the charges are based on definitions of antisemitism in a version of an antisemitism code of conduct that the Labour Party will not publish. Mr Wallis denies all the charges.

How much lower is Starmer’s faux Labour likud party going to sink before he finally gets kicked out, along with his bunch of backstabbing traitors?

  • Allan Howard says:

I know it sounds a bit far-fetched, but why doesn’t Chris get a friend to report him to the police for these ‘six instances’ of hostility or prejudice so as to determine whether or not he DID do anything that amounts to a criminal offence. Needless to say, he didn’t!

NB It’s somewhat interesting though that the LP didn’t actually use the word – or accuse him of – anti-semitism, but use the terms ‘hostility’ and prejudice’??

I met Chris briefly back in 1997 when he was a Senior BBC producer. HA
is integrity, sense of `fair play` & obvious decency shone through – not least in relation to the work that he addressed. Twenty four years later / I have not changed my mind. Chris will not know who on earth I am – but the fact that I remember him with fondness, affection and admiration testifies to the positive shining light of his core values. Ironically, I now find myself (though much less influential) facing similar charges _ apparently, a case to answer. Chris` artistic/musical sensibilities (even without his ethical core values!) intensifies the absurdity of these offensive charges.
